Do not recommend
My partner was recommended these pads due to cracked and bruised nipples. However, when she tried to remove the pad, it stuck to her nipple and caused further damage. She then spent around 20 minutes in the shower trying to remove the residue so she could breastfeed. Due to concerns about any remaining residue, she also had to pump and discard her milk.

Smell pleasant and work!
They do precicely what they claim, soothing and protecting/healing. This product is much superior to competitor's gel pads. Thinner, more confortable too. Good amount of adhesion without any disconcerting chemical smells (that many others have -I couldn't tolerate using the other brands as the smell was so off-putting). These have virtually no scent. I sincerely hope more stockists discover how much better these ones are so they're easier to send husbands to purchase ;)
I wish i discovered these before the 4th round of b-feeding. If i had these on the first round I maybe I wouldn't have had 3 weeks of excoriated and bleeding skin. Despite what you're told, it usually does hurt for a while unless you happen to get the perfect pairing of baby mouth coordination and your shape. Skip the others, buy these for your hospital bag. I hope my review is helpful to you.
